SIM swapping is a type of account takeover fraud that targets a weakness in two-factor authentication where the second step is a text message or a call placed to a mobile telephone. A quick and easy way to help prevent SIM swapping is to enable a SIM PIN  on your mobile phone.  Go to Settings > Phone > Sim PIN > Enable and Change PIN.  The default PIN is 1111.
