First Time Right at Every Project
When it comes to making sure our installers execute every project on time and on plan, no one takes that responsibility more seriously than our project manager Becky Kroells. Here’s how she does it First Time Right:
What is your role at CONTROLTEK?
I’m an Installation Coordinator and Project Manager on our Client Solutions Delivery Team. I schedule and coordinate complex jobs for multiple client accounts. I use good judgment to ensure schedules are met and to use appropriate resources efficiently. I track technician call-backs, equipment and project completion along with any issues, to ensure a successful installation.
How do you deliver First Time Right in your work?
My priority is ensuring that all colleagues and resources understand the scope of the project as well as what they are individually responsible for. I also focus on creating clear schedules of what needs to be completed by what date and on communicating relevant information to all parties involved, such as changes in schedule dates, changes in the project’s requirements, unexpected hitches, etc.
What’s the favorite part of your job?
I enjoy being able to build my own relationships with clients and subcontractors. Having a good relationship with our subcontractors means that the effort they put forth will be their very best and that translates into a happy customer and a successful partnership. I like being the “backbone” behind that.
What inspires you?
Knowing that what I do ultimately improves our clients bottom line. I get inspired by knowing that I helped to provide a solution and continue to support our client’s asset protection team.
