First Time Right at Every Proposal

If you ask Dave what’s the secret to success in sales, he will answer with one word: listening.  According to Dave, only when you truly listen to the client can you recommend the right solution to their problem, and do it First Time Right.

What is your role at CONTROLTEK?

I am a major account manager. I work with prospects and clients to provide them with security solutions that reduce any sort of cash theft. I also help prospects and clients by streamlining their operational processes to reduce their workload, in turn making them more efficient.

How do you deliver First Time Right in your work?

When I am working with a client I know that it is essential to listen to the client’s needs closely. In doing so I can provide a solution that fits the client’s needs and resolves their problem correctly the first time.

What’s the favorite part of your job?

The favorite part of my job is when I can help a client solve a problem that’s been bugging them for a long time. I love it when I hear a client say something like, “Thanks so much for your hard work on this, this is why we do business with your company because we know you will always get the job done right.”

What inspires you?

I get inspired by hearing about new things in the industry. I always enjoy hearing about new products and processes that are going to enhance security and reduce theft for our clients.

What’s the number one thing you’d like the world to know about CONTROLTEK?

We always stand behind our clients. And if in the very rare event we don’t do something first time right – we will take ownership and make sure we fix it. The client ALWAYS comes first at CONTROLTEK and we will always make sure that our client is not shorthanded.
